Chapter 39   Mia There's nothing worse than waking up in an unfamiliar place and not having a clue how you got there. Especially when it stinks of urine. I'm lying on a small mattress on the floor of a room that could be the size of my closet back at my parent's house. There's a tiny window at the very top of the wall, but it's too high for me to see out. There's a rusty, dented metal door, but as you might have guessed, it's locked. I don't hear anything other than a constant dripping, but I can't tell where it's coming from. The floor is disgusting. I've kept on the mattress the short time I've been awake, afraid to step out onto what I fear may be human waste. I have no idea what this room could've been used for before, but in recent times, definitely a toilet. I check my pockets,
