By the time that he had closed the door behind him, I couldn’t help but feel like I hadn’t recovered from the effects of the kiss. But even though it still felt like my head was spiralling, I knew that I needed to get a move on. The sooner I was able to get ready, the better it was going to be. I had no time to waste.
