I waited and waited in the dining hall.
Despite the detour that I had taken, it had become painfully obvious to me that I had somehow still managed to be early for breakfast. It was something that I couldn't help but find strange, because regardless of fact that I was early, it didn't make sense to me that no one else was here, either. It was a difficult thing for me to comprehend, because it wasn't like I had just woken up. I had been awake for ages, for so long in fact, that I had managed to partially mend my relationship with my father, and partially ruin my relationship with Dae. Something like that didn't just happen in the time span of a few minutes.
