Unfortunately for me, the meal didn’t last as long as I would have wanted it to—but it seemed like even Dae had begun to get annoyed with the fact that we were taking so long. By the time that everyone had finished the second course, he had stated to the chef that we would take the third course in the study, along with some tea.
It was strange to hear Dae ask for that, since he had never done something like that before, regardless of how busy he had been. But I chose to believe that the reason for it, was simply that he had had more than enough when it came to all or this. I couldn’t deny the fact that the tense energy in the air was beginning to take it’s toll on me too, but I was doing a better job at ignoring those feelings.
But I knew that that was for selfish reasons.
