When I found myself waking up, I had to admit that I did not expect my chambers to be submerged in complete darkness, not so much as a single candle in sight in order to light what was happening around the room. I had simply neen laying here in bed with my eyes closed for the last few minutes, trying to ensure that I did wake up as I should have been, but not once had I considered that my difficultly sleeping had something to do with the fact that there was no light within my chambers. But thankfully, my eyes had already started to adjust to the lack of light, and I believe that my memory was also playing a large role in filling out the dark outlines that I was now able to see.
