“Do you think that she would want to marry me after that?”
My eyes moved from Elder Xara, to Dae, and I couldn’t help but think to myself about what a big mess this had all become. I couldn’t even begin to imagine how Anoa was feeling, and after she had walked out of here, it had taken every ounce of self-control to make sure that I didn’t go after her. I didn’t have much experience in terms of her walking away, but I knew what it felt like when she wasn’t around, and this right here, the constant arguing, was the perfect example of it.
