I was finding it difficult to believe what was happening. I knew that it shouldn't have been surprising, or shocking, but here I was, feeling exactly like that. My heart was racing at a mile a minute, and I wouldn't have been surprised if it gave in and stopped working. I hadn't ever felt this way before, not even when I had been in the midst of hunting, when I had nearly been killed by an animal. There was absolutely nothing that could compare to this moment, to the way that it made me feel, and what it meant for my future with Dae, and the future of the Kingdom. I could only hope that everyone else would end up being as excited as I was.
