My chest heaved up and down as I made my way down the hall, and I knew that it was going to take quite a while for me to settle down and relax. I knew, deep down, that the way that I had reacted and handled the situation, had been somewhat uncalled for, but it had been what I had needed to do at the time. There was absolutely nothing keeping me from snapping at Anoa and her family, but I had enough of a grip on my sanity to know that doing something like that would only end up getting me into trouble.
