I laid, snuggled up against Dae’s body, feeling the warmth of him flood through me. I couldn’t bring myself to deny the fact that this had been exactly what I had wanted, and it had turned out better than I had imagined it would. My heart was still thumping wildly in my chest, the disbelief that I had actually gone through with this, setting into my bones in the same way that any other kind of shock would have.
