I have been taking Ithu out on several dates and showering her with many surprises, but today's one will undoubtedly blow her mind. I tap my booted foot on the road as I wait for her outside the hospital where she works.
I spot her walking out with her friend when her eyes widen in surprise to see me there, just as expected. I laugh and meet her halfway.
"Hey.." I smile at her friend whose name I don't know but I want to seem like a friendly guy. The woman smiles back and waves a hand at me. Then I flick a glance at Ithu. Her eyes are still huge.
I grab her bag, then throw it over my shoulder. "Hi, babe!!"
"What are you doing here?" She quickly tells her goodbye to her friend and starts to walk alongside me to our car.
"I came to pick you up.." I shrug.
"Nice.." She smil
