When the day finally came to take Ithu and my baby home, I was too excited. I hadn't slept entirely the previous night thinking about how it would feel bringing my family home. Nobody had to remind me that Ithu didn't want to come home with me but I am certain what she said was all said in anger and she didn't really mean it.
Just a little after seven in the morning I am at the hospital. When I entered the hospital, Ithu's parents had already done all the formalities needed for the discharge. Ithu's carrying Oviya while Navil and my parents help her get all the bags out of the room. I take my daughter from Ithu and usher them towards my car parked at the entrance of the hospital building, however, Ithu stops walking behind me.
