The Vampires landed on the outskirts of the City that contained the Council’s embassy. Stepping out of the bag, Rowan visibly shivered as he looked over the lights that were laid out below them, twinkling against the night sky. Pointing his finger, he muttered, ‘down this way’ before grabbing Gabriella’s hand and striding down the small ridge toward the awaiting buildings. Stepping amongst the familiar structures, Rowan’s eyes darted left and right, absorbing the features of every individual who scurried out of their path in fear from the power emanating from members of the group. Making his way toward the Council building, Rowan’s grip tightened against Gabriella’s palm, his demon’s were starting to claw at his soul, reminding him of who he was. ‘It’s OK Rowan, this isn’t who you are
