Clarkson mind linked me, and I could hear the fear in his voice.
“Noah! He’s coming right up to the front of the castle! Get over here.”
His voice quivered.
“I’m on my way, Clarkson; just stand strong I’ll be their bro.”
I felt his sigh of relief.
“Hurry, Noah! There are too many of them. Have you found....?” His voice trailed off, not wanting to say her name.
“No. But I will be there.”
