Amelia POV
All the girls flow into the room with their beautiful dresses trailing along behind them.
I went for a deep maroon colour for them as it was the only colour that suited all of them and Charlotte really liked that colour.
I was trying not to be obviously looking for her when the others came forward. But I wasn’t that successful as Kisha took my elbow and pulled me to one side.
“She’s had to go on a mission for Noah. Clarkson said it's important but not to worry and Charlotte says she’s sorry and loves you.”
I stood there like a guppy fish for what felt like minutes but was likely only seconds.
“Charlotte won’t be here for the ceremony?” I wanted to make sure I got that right.
Kisha nodded and squeezed my elbow before moving back into place with the others.
