With Rosetta seated on Yuri’s lap, they took their time to enjoy Annika’s food, mainly Russian dishes. There were beef stroganoff (sautéed beef in sauce with sour cream), baked chicken Kiev (pounded chicken fillet rolled around cold butter and coated with eggs and bread crumbs), pelmeni (Russia’s popular and national dish, pastry dumplings filled with minced meat that is wrapped in a thin, pasta-like dough), bliny (pancake) and homemade chocolate cake.
An hour later, they went upstairs for Yuri to give her a tour and show her their bedroom. She was surprised to see heart-shaped red balloons sticking on the ceiling, with their rainbow-colored strings. There were also red balloons on the floor that surrounded the bed, plus pink cattleya and red rose petals that were in a heart shape decorat
