My buddies and their girls went home ahead of me. Turned out they just used Tim’s car, which was parked near the neighbor’s. It was why Aria and I hadn’t noticed it and were surprised they were here when got back from buying some things from the convenience store.
The hours went by so fast. It was a great day well spent. I considered it one of the best days of my life, so far.
Aria and I were in my car, holding hands. Her mom was still upstairs, working. It seemed that she was a workaholic after all. She only came downstairs to prepare lunch for us all and ate with us for a bit before excusing herself.
