I told the gate guards we were heading in so that they could have everything ready for us. I didn’t want to waste time waiting for the gates to open and delay getting Seren to the hospital longer than necessary. She had dropped right back into unconsciousness after she opened her eyes, and her heartbeat was still too slow and faint.
‘We need to level that entire pack,’ Conn growled out. He alternated between whimpering at the state of our mate and pure rage at the Blood Moon pack for doing this to her.
