Chloe POV
We got everything ready for dinner while Betty and Tom got reacquainted with their daughter. I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face even if I tried. I was beyond happy for the three of them.
It was past our usual dinner time so the pack had already eaten. It was nice that we could have a quiet dinner to ourselves and enjoy a bit more of a intimate evening. We had a lot to celebrate today.
I was just about done setting the table when Knox walked up to me. He wrapped his arms around around my body and pulled me against his. He lowered his face into the crook of my neck and inhaled deeply. I don’t know what it was about that action, but every time he did it it caused butterflies to invade my stomach. I guess somethings never get old.
