Suddenly, Sibyl felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end as Keshton's aggressive aura filled the room. She was on edge, sensing not just a pair of Amber eyes, but a pair of furious wolf eyes piercing into her soul. Her heart raced, but she composed herself, straightening her spine, and standing tall.
"Then please excuse me," she said, offering a partial smile to the other Alphas. She got up and turned around, walking away at a normal pace.
All the men's eyes followed her as she opened and closed the door. Then all of their eyes went back to the Alpha sitting amongst them with a dark face, his wolf’s eyes fixed on the door that Sibyl had left through.
