The painful growl of a wolf echoed in the packhouse. A badly beaten wolf was mercilessly dragged out of a metal cage, blood oozing from various wounds and his breathing hardly audible.
“After laying a trap for you days ago, I finally caught you,” Glen glanced down at the wolf that had been thrown at his feet and kicked him so hard that the impact forced him to shift into his human form due to the pain.
The man rolled on the floor, holding his stomach, but could only manage a whimper. “It… it wasn’t really me.”
