Chapter 21 I stir, opening my eyes slowly to my room. I’m in bed again. How many times have I blacked out in the last couple of weeks? I grimace at the soreness of my abdomen. It’s as if I did a hundred or so sit ups. I let out a groan and stretched my aching arms.  A gasp leaves my lips.  I’m glowing. My skin is luminous and incandescent. I feel like an actual glow stick used in concerts or parties. Was I snapped in half? Or worse… did I die and become an angel of some sort? That can’t be though. I’m simply not kind enough to go to heaven.
