Chapter 33 I didn’t ask Bass to sleep in the room with me. The heart wrenching expression on his face before he closed the door would forever be burned into my mind but for the first time, I didn’t care. He lied again.  I was able to see my home yet he said it was impossible. The next morning, before the girls could come into my room and help me get dressed, I threw myself out of the Tree using the window.
