Chapter V "Oh my goodness!" Jonixa giggled and runs towards the section of hanged clothes. "This is what I've been eyeing for at the online shop I used to hang with while we're in recess." He wiggled his ass while hugging the girlie cloth he saw. "Perfect, go on, change your clothes. We don't want you to get sick wearing that drenched and dried clothes you wear." Clarissa smiles at him. "Take your time." She shrugs. "You're the best sweet girl I've ever met, Clarissa. That's why I live you so much." Jonixa goes behind the rows of clothes where they cannot see his naked glory, although he's hidden, he's still having all his effort to cover his t**s even though he has none. "Oh for goodness sake, hurry it up will you? We're on a mission to find Brenda and Jeiger." Rohana massages her forehead, looking so stressed about him. "Alright! Alright! No need to be so cranky about it though." Jonixa rolls his eyes and changes all his clothes also his boxer shorts. Now he's wearing a pair of skin tight black ripped jeans, grey halter top and a red and black plaid jacket and would he ever forget that chunky white shoes he's been dreaming to have. "So? What do you think?" He posed and pouts his lips like a duck, making Jessa smile because of how absurd he looks like. "You still look like an ass of a horse to me, let's go." Rohana shook her head and leads the way. Amando is at the front of all them, checking all ways while carrying his pack and the bat that he never let go off. "Hey Jonixa, come one, get your pack, let's keep up with them." Clarissa politely told him and he instantly took the bag with him and walks like a Queen. "Guess he can finally run faster than we do now with that shoes." Jessa commented while looking at her friend feeling the new shoes he's wearing, keeping his pace up to catch up with Rohana who's walking fast. "Yep, I think he will." Clarissa chuckles, tightening the strap of her bag without anything yet but a couple of flares and flashlight that was given by Amando earlier. She kept it at the sides where she could easily get it, in case of emergency in need of light. "Hey ladies, mind walking faster?" Gavin asked them sweetly and gestures his hand to come quickly beside him. "Here! The shelves of food here!" Rohana told them while pointing her hand at the aisle full of biscuits. They individually fill their bags with the those edible goods. Jonixa filled his bag with gummy bears in which he earned a loud smack on the back of his head from Rohana. "Ouch! What is it now?" He complained while massaging where he got hit. "Gummy bears? What kind of stomach fo you have? You will starve yourself with those stupid candies." She scolded him and exhales loudly. "I don't think, chip, chocolates and these would satisfy our stomach while rescue is still on it's way, don't you think?" Clarissa asked Amando who packs his bag with bags of biscuits, breads and canned foods. "Well, it's better to keep our stomach has something to grumble for. We don't know how long we're going to wait for help but, let's just hope that they will come for us before we ran out of supplies." He replied, zipping his bag closed. He has the radio strapped around his belt bag and the phone is also with him, still having a hard time looking for a sim card to use. "How bad do you think of what's going on out there?" She asked him, finally voicing out what has been bothering her mind. "Do you think that all places are filled with those things? I mean, are we going to make it alive?" She added and now she's looking straight at his eyes. Amando let out a soft sigh. "Honestly, I have no idea and I have so many questions like you all do. But if ever things get worse, trust me, I'll do everything to keep you all safe." He promised her, showing her a bit of his smile. "Why would you say such thing? You don't even know us." Clarissa's a bit confused of how can he value people that he didn't even know until today. Amando chuckles lowly. "Sweet child, you don't have to know people to do kind to them." He messed her hair and wears his heavy bag. "Your sassy, snobbish friend told me that you're smart, I know you know what I mean. And I belive that you'll be a big help for everyone to get all of us to safety. You just have to believe that everything will be fine." After he said those, he left and helps Rohana and Jonixa with their supplies. "Hey, are you okay?" Jessa came to her, while holding a couple of bottle of water with her. "Yeah, of course. Why not?" She asked back at Jessa and zips her bag that's full of food supplies. "If I only get to call mom and dad, they're probably coming to come and get us." She handed her one of the water to put it in her back. Jessa's been done filling her own bag with breads and necessary things like batteries, neon stick lights, biscuits and she even took a carton of milk. Making her backpack weigh more than her. "Didn't you tell me that you guys got a phone back at the electronic shop?" Clarissa got a positive nod from Jessa. "Then why can't we use it?" "We can't find and sim card to use and Amando said that he's not sure if there's service or not." Jessa replied to her, taking a step backward and almost out blanced herself from the heaviness of her pack. "What about phone booths? There might be no sevixe with phone but phone booths would still work." She suggested and looks around. "Sure but only that there are no phone booths here at the ground floor." Jessa curves her lips us. "Hey guys, come on, let's move. I saw some stalls there we can check for another supply or a sim card." Amando announced to them, Gavin who's already checking at the stalls he heard a weird sound coming from the vents. Sounds like someone's crawling but it sounded too many for just a person. "What's making that sound?" Jonixs asked shakily to them but no one dared answering, everyone of them are looking at the vents above them, following where the sound comes from. Also asking what's making that noise. "What the hell?" He muttered until bodies fell on the floor with loud smack of skins on the squeaky floor. "What the f*ck!" ~ ● ~ "This is the very first time in my life that I believe that I'm about to die." Brenda holds her chest with her left hand. Panting tired from running for minutes, to get away from those scary creatures trying to take a large bite on them. "Can't you run a little faster?" Jeiger shouted at her. "My stamina is a bit weaker than yours! Sorry for running slower than you." She shouted back at him. "For f*ck sake! In there!" He pointed at a shop. Without any more questions asked, they both gets in. "Wow, this is great. A freaking glass box to hide from them, they wouldn't see us here! This is just great!" Brenda sarcastically argued with him. "Can you please stop talking just for five minutes?! Five minutes! I'm trying to think!" He yelled at her, while looking around. But seeing those things coming at them in quick pace is not helping him to think quickly. It gives him panic, add the fact that the woman he's with is not participating according to what he wants her to do. "Stop talking?! We wouldn't be running and panicking like this if you just listen to me by taking the stairs! The others are probably looking for something to eat and that's where we should've gone! Not here! Trapped in a glass shop where they can easily spot us and break in without any effort!" She barked at him, sweating so bad seeing the freaks coming in their direction so fast. "Listen to you?! You're the reason why we where left behind at the first place, so don't blame me! And please just be quiet!" He growled at her and took the chair and mop that's leaning on the wall. "So you're saying that this is my fault?!" She coughed loudly. He's now above the chair pushing the doors of the vents open, it's wide and spacious, it can fit the two of them. "I found us a way out, will you just f*cking stop that motor mouth of yours and let's just get out of here?" He told her with his gritted teeth before going down from that chair. "Get up there now." He ordered her while pointing at the vent. Brenda scoffed and rolled her hooded eyes. "You have the guts to tell me what to do?" She spat at him. "Well if you want to live then you should." Brenda was about to argue more of him when a loud bang from the glass window. "Oh my gosh! Boost me up! Boost me up! Boost me up!" She repeatedly shakes him and almost climb Jeiger up. "Ouch! What the f-- woman! Calm the f*ck down!" He complained and have her a hard push to reach the vents and climbs up. "Hurry it up will you!" He demanded. The glass broke, and many of the corpses came in towards him. "Sh*t!" He cursed and jumps to the vents but those things grabs his feet, trying to pull him down. "What the--" Brenda pulled him in the vents. Jeiger's kicking his feet to pull his feet away from those things. "Don't pull me there!" He exclaimed when Brenda pulled him by his belt, squeezing his mighty egg with his pants but she didn't listen and just pulled him until she finally got him with her... above her, to be specific. "Get off of me!" She shrieked at him, pushing him to the side when she realized that his face is in the valley of her mountains. "You're the one who pulled me." He tried to find a comfort position in the vent, feeling a bit awkward about what just happened. "Freaking taking my dignity out of me." She mumbled and starts to crawl. "It's not like you have the front." He grumbled, stepping on her ego. Brenda scoffed and looks back at him and saw him eyeing on her ass. "Talk one more time about me and I'll kick you back down there and let those things turn you to be like them." She threatened him while throwing him sharp glares. "If ever you happened to kick me back down there and if they turn me to be like them, then you will be the first target I will eat alive." He mimicked her, only that he made his word with a bit hint of double meaning. "I hate you so much." She squinted her eyes on him. "The feeling is mutual, now I'm desperate for any kind of edible food, a 'real food', move that ass of yours and start crawling." He once again told her what to do. "Well, why don't you lead the way, Mr. Maniac with a not so great attitude." She gave him space to have his way first. "Sure, only if you keep your eyes away from my ass, Ms. Talkative with a not so nice attitude." He made his way beside her, not tearing his eyes away from here. Brenda just made a face and rolls her eyes, following him with his butt as her view. "It would be nice if you don't fart on my face." She told him making him snort indecently. "Darling, you should be thankful to be farted by a Jeiger Montreal." He boasted taking turns and all the ways he thinks that it might be the right way that could lead them to the others. Brenda let out an audible and boisterous, monotonous laugh. "Should I say 'yeepee!' and dance like a monkey? You're not that handsome as you think you are. Your face doesn't reach Golden Child's Kim Jibeom's ankles." She compared him with that beautiful guy she saw from the internet which was suggested by Jonixa. "Whoever the hell that Chinese guy is, I'm confident that my eyes are a lot cuter than his. Bigger and looks like deer's eyes. Doe and pure black, kinda like a pair of eyes that could lure any woman even those with their husbands and boyfriends, I'm that good looking." He bragged about his face, making it sound like he's stating a fact. "Shut up." She hissed. "Now which way?" She asked him, seeing another cross way, in the vents. "Well I call, left." He then crawled to the left. "Talk about direction is my sixth sense, trust me, this is the way." His cockiness annoys the hell out of Brenda, and she's so close to stab his ass with her fore and middle finger. "You know what? We've been crawling for century and we still can't find a way out. Talk about your nonsense direction skills." She complained. "My back is aching and my elbows and knees are about to start a fire." She smiled at him falsely when he threw his face at her. "Says the one who told me to lead the way." He mocked her, flicking her last straw of patience. Brenda slaps his ass and pushes it forward, making him shove his face on the vent. "I hate you! I hate you! I freaking hate you! I shouldn't have pulled you earlier!" She started to have his tantrums and kicks the side of the vents. "Hey! Hey! Stop doing that! The vents might not hold--" Before he could finish what he's saying, both of them fell from the vents and to the floor with loud screams. "Now we're complete, now that's what I call luck."
