Chapter XXIX
Night came in the island, yet still Gavin's head is somewhere else. His heart stayed looking for her as he sat by the shore, feeling the cold breeze that touches his skin. Reminiscing the night him and Clarissa have shared before she left. It was a night to remember, and to never forget.
He's holding on to the thought and idea of Clarissa in a boat and approaching the shore with a satisfied smile on her face, and will come rushing towards him to hug and hold him and tell him that she will never going away ever again.
That would be his dream, but he knows to himself that it will take time before it might possibly happen. Or is it even possible?
Sighing heavily, he lowered his head and sees his hand above him lap. It's shaking.
