When I woke up, I realized, to my greater horror, that I was slung over an unfamiliar shoulder. The side of my neck screamed in agony and my snout, which was dry at the end, thumped against the back of the stranger who had me slung over his shoulder. A whimper passed my mouth, which was duct-taped shut; my front legs and hind legs in the same position. The cement flooring offered me little comfort, with the splattered blood that coated it. Wherever I was smelt like death, and that's when the absolute fear and realization of my situation settled in. They were going to kill me.
