Calliope's POV
"NICK!" I screamed and fell to my knees after I watched the man I love get kidnapped. I just kept calling his name and barely noticed others had run up to me. Alpha Iain knelt in front of me, and I fell into his arms and sobbed like a baby while he just patted my back. I tried telling him what had happened, but I could barely speak coherently. Iain picked me up, and I sobbed into his chest while he carried me somewhere. I just cried until I felt him set me on something soft.
I opened my eyes and realized I was in my room. I sniffled as Esther and Ava sat on either side of me. The alpha and his beta stood in front of me with their arms folded. "You have to tell us what happened, Calliope," He demanded as gently as he could muster. I know he was trying not to upset
