Elle’s POV A door at the very end, just slightly open. The light from the hallway spilled into the room, soft and golden, like it was inviting me in. I paused in front of it for a second, then reached out and pushed it open slowly. The hinges creaked a little, and I stepped inside. It was a library. My eyes widened as I looked around. The room wasn’t huge, but it felt cozy. Tall wooden shelves lined the walls from floor to ceiling, packed full of books. Some books were standing straight and neat, others leaned over like they were too tired to sit up. There were even a few lying flat, stacked on top of each other in small piles.
