The way Ares had been so keen to share this room full of weaponry seemed almost childlike, and I was surprised that he was so excited to show me the collection he was so proud of until I remembered how enthusiastic he was when Rayden gave me the crossbow that had already proved useful a number of times.  I took a tentative step towards the wall with the bows hanging on it, then rested my hand on the crossbow I felt against my thigh.  It was tiny compared to the ones he had in his collection, and I felt a little embarrassed because I realized that the bow he had been so pleased for me to have was probably intended for a child, and that the others probably thought I was strange for using the thing.
