I felt sorry for Rayden, now I knew more about him.
I think that he first told us he had a bond with someone because he was angry at Ares for using the term flippantly. Now that he saw it was the truth, and this was probably the first time he had been able to share the pain that he felt with someone who might understand.
It made me see him completely differently; he was still the brawny man who bound my wrists with a rope that I still bore the marks of on my wrists, but he wasn’t intimidating to me now.
