She saw Tori waiting for her at the table.
“I’m so sorry!” Gemma told her, giving her a kiss on each cheek. “There was a signal failure on the Circle Line. I had to detour and walk from Hyde Park Corner; have you been waiting long?”
“Not really,” Tori smiled. “I got your text message anyway; so I decided to sit at the table and answer a couple of emails – would you like a drink?”
“I’d love a white wine!” Gemma told her. “Any recommendations? I’ve never eaten here before – the décor is pretty impressive.”
“Well I’m drinking a Sauvignon Blanc; would you like to try mine before you decide?”
Gemma took a sip from Tori’s glass.

They ordered their drinks and food from the waiter and Gemma smiled at Tori.
