I was beyond tired. Emotionally and physically. I started preparing my evening meal and then I heard a knock at the door.
“Just a second!” I yelled out as I looked down at the mess in front of me. I did my best to tidy up before going to the door. Pulling the door open, I was shocked to see Blake standing on the other side. How the hell had he found me? My mouth fell open as we stared at each other.
“Dawn,” he whispered my name, and I felt the tingles shiver up and down my spine. Just my name coming from his lips made me feel weak in the knees.
“B-Blake,” I stuttered out, feeling embarrassed. Here I was standing in my pj's, looking like a total mess. I wasn’t sure what to do or what to say as we continued to stare at each other.
