11 Hailey tried to figure out just what was happening, but couldn’t seem to. Workers Tavern was packed to the gills. The Christmas Day wedding had been at the community pool. She supposed it made sense for the wedding of a rescue swimmer, but it was still weird to have the wedding party all in the pool and the bride and groom up on the diving board. Weird in a gloriously small-town-funny way that she totally dug. The bride’s high-brow mom hadn’t looked terribly amused, but everyone else was having too much fun to care.
