AN odd morning when Glenn woke up and went to the kitchen, nobody was there, but the food was ready. He called people on the intercom but did not respond; even Noname was not around. It was the first time he woke up on a solemn morning and could only hear a mild waves sound from the ocean.
“Hello!” he yelled.
Lumabas siyang muli ng kusina at kinatok lahat ng pinto sa ground floor. At kalaunan ay napagtanto niya na maaring nasa panaginip pa siya. But it felt real.
“Noname! Carlo! Gloria! Gaspar!” Halos tawagin na niya lahat ng tao na kilala niya.
Napalingon siya sa hagdanan na may yabag. It’s Fabio, wearing a dark pants and shirt.
“Why on earth were you yelling?” he asked.
