Alexander Cody’s POV
I woke up with a smile. But it faded when I saw an empty space beside me.
She's not in my bed anymore… maybe she's cooking.
I sat and started to wear my clothes.
I'm about to reach my shirt on the other side of the bed but then I noticed something. Something that made my heart pound fast. It's a folded paper.
Nostalgic.
I opened it and started to read the words that broke me again.
AC, I'm sorry. Please just forget me. Good bye.
I crumpled the paper as I lift my head up to prevent my tears from falling.
She is always my missing piece… she is always that piece that keeps on getting away.
