Chapter 35 Kate wished that Sam Fierro’s knock-out capsule had been either more or less effective. Had it been less effective, Harold would have woken during the flight and Kate might not have been bored out of her skull. Next time she was locked in a small dark box with a drugged man for five hours she’d make sure she brought along her e-reader. Had it been more effective, Harold would not have been woken up by the bump of the FedEx plane hitting the tarmac and the roar of reversing engines. First Harold had been groggy. Then furious.
