He leaned down into the doorway. “Evelyn, go take Cam his book and make sure the twins get inside. I think someone’s following them.”
Through the other side of the window, he could see the scarfed man snapping another picture. Evelyn followed his gaze, gritting her teeth. “You catch him,” she told him, grabbing the books before sliding out the car.
Rex nodded, going around the car before launching himself towards the man with the camera. Evelyn ran across the street to the twins, gesturing for them to go inside. The perpetrator spotted Rex, quickly reacting as he rushed down the sidewalk in a swift sprint. Rex ran faster though. He was determined to capture whoever this guy taking pictures of his kids.
