It was finally time for the Luna Ceremony or, as I had petitioned, the Ceremony of Honor. I awoke a little earlier than usual because I had to get to the venue on time and ensure everything was going according to plan. One of the most nerve-racking aspects of Luna's ceremony was decorating for a baby shower.
As Katia hadn't yet revealed what her baby's gender was, I decided to get both pink and blue. As I told Kira, I wanted an entire section for Katia. In addition to rose pink, baby pink, and navy-blue balloons, two were personalized with the words BOY and GIRL.
