I don't know you

After school closure we were at home all sitting in the sitting room and watching a TV program when a knock sounded on the door albeit wondering who could be at the door, I stood up from the sofa to go and answer the door but Aunt Mena also stood up and said soothingly, "Don't worry let me go answer it dear" "Ok Aunt Mena" I replied and reluctantly sank back into the sofa then she begah to head towards the door while Dad kept peering at the Tv screen. "Do you have any idea about who could be at the door?" Dad asked seconds later after Aunt Mena left to answer the door "No Dad" I replied then Dad nodded and shifted his gaze back to the TV screen. Shortly after Aunt Mena walked back to the sitting room with an expressionless face and said "Please sir. There is a lady at the door she said she wants to see you" "What did she say is her name?" Dad asked taking a quick cursory glance at Aunt Mena's direction "I have no idea sir" Aunt Mena replied stealthily "You mean she didn't tell you her name or didn't give you a hint about her purpose of wanting to see me?" Dad asked facing Aunt Mena's direction " Yes sir she didn't. She only said it was very urgent she speaks with you now" Aunt Mena replied with her head hung low and her gaze glued to the floor " Alright then you know what? Just tell her I'm not around. She should come back some other time" Dad said after much hesitation while Aunt Mena nodded and walked back to the door "But Dad that's a lie. You are at home so why did you have to tell a lie?" I asked with a furrowed brow as I kept gawking at him. "Well I didn't tell a lie. I just had to say that because…" Dad stuttered " Because of what Dad? But you told Aunt Mena to tell the lady at the door that you were not at home just now. Isn't that a lie?" I countered pouting my lips "I said that because I don't want to see anyone now I'm so tired" Dad replied with a chuckle " Oh really Dad? You're tired right?" I sneered "Yes dear" Dad said "Then just go to bed and..." I said then trailed off on hearing the pandemonium coming from the door side as Dad got up and quickly dashed towards that direction while I trailed behind at close range. "That's a bloody lie. He is very much at home… That's his car parked over there and I know he sent you to tell me all of that. Now get our of my way before I crush you down" The woman who I recalled came in search of Dad the other time thundered, fighting tooth and nail to get into the house roared loudly like a mad lioness. "Madam please calm down I'm sorry but you can't come in. I've told you he isn't around. Come see him some other time" Aunt Mena said using her hands to block the entrance to the door. "Oh Edwards so you were inside there and you had the guts to tell her to come teok me you weren't at home right?" The woman yelled glaring at Dad as we got to the door "What the hell is wrong with you Perrie?" Dad asked irked by her rantings "So it's because of this thing here you're ignoring me right?" Perrie asked pointing towards Aunt Mena "You better watch your tongue young lady. She has nothing to do with any of the things happening here now answer my question" Dad retorted blowing hot with anger "I won't say a thing yet until you allow me go inside" Perrie replied " Ummm… Mena please let her in" Dad said calmly then Aunt Mena made way for her to pass while Dad walked back inside the house as I still stood rooted to one spot. "Please Mena take Amanda inside so you both can excuse us" Dad said, sitting down "Well there won't be a need for that Edwards. They can both stay back and listen because I won't take long besides I want this new mistress of yours to also get the message as well" Perrie replied as she sat down and placed her right leg on the left in such a way that a part of her thighs were showing from the very short red gown she was putting on. "Hey Perrie don't you dare annoy me. Now listen this is my house and I decide what happens and won't happen not the other way round and I won't take any form of stupidity from you. Lastly this woman here isn't my mistress. She wouldn't stoop so low as you to become a mistress you p*****t!" Dad roared revealing the thick veins on his forehead. "Hey easy Mr. Edwards. Seems you have forgotten so quickly that this Mistress of yours here is carrying you unborn child and don't you think the yelling won't be good for the baby in here?" Perrie blurted out rubbing her tummy in circular motion and winking at Dad while I kept gawking like a fool. "You better shut your traps up woman! That evil ridden thing you call a baby isn't mine for crying out loud and you know it so you better stop laying false accusations on me or else..." Dad stuttered as beads of sweat began to form on his reddened face "Or else what Edwards? Go on tell me… you will get me killed huh?. I'm so disappointed at you already buddy. I thought you were smarter than this but no. Now I realize you're nothing but a loser. Yes you heard me right. Oh you have forgotten so quickly how you begged for it that night. Promising and cursing to bring down heaven on earth if I allowed you to have your way. You want me to remind you huh? A loser that's what you're!" Perrie shot back while Aunt Mena and I looked on in shock "That's enough already before I do something stupid Perrie" Dad yelled clenching his fist tightly and shaking vigorously like a headless chicken. " What else can you do? No, tell me Edwards what can you do? Nothing else apart from beating me up as you always do to your runaway sweetheart of a wife because you're a coward and that's the only thing cowards know how to do best" Perrie said as she stood up and began to walk towards Dad's direction. "Don't dare me stay away from me. Perrie trust me you will regret it at the end if you don't leave my presence" Dad retorted looking away " I'm not going anywhere Edwards now do your worse if you think you're so manly and strong." Perrie said shooting Dad a glare "Don't push me to the wall Perrie. Step back now before it's too late" Dad said more of an advise in a sober tone. "And if I don't what will you do Mr. Edwards?" Perrie asked striking Dad's chest repeatedly while Dad fumed in anger. Still perplexed and looking at the complex drama being staged out by Dad and Perrie, I drifted into a trance of thoughts as I began to wonder about what all of these could be but it still didn't make any sense to me. After hearing a loud scream, I jerked back to reality to behold what has happened
