"So are you the only one at home?" She asked as I sat down beside her
"Yeah." I replied
"Mummy can I have one please?" One of the kids chipped in pointing at the bag on the table
"What is that honey? You want candy huh Jay?" My Aunt asked, staring at her
"Yes Mum" She muttered, pouting her lips
"Fine. I will give you some Ok?” She replied then my Aunt took the bag from the table and brought out a pack of candy.
"Now, here we go darling" She said giving out some of it to her which Jay collected then turned to walk away
"Hey, are really going to leave without saying thank you to mum?" My Aunt asked staring at her
"No mummy, I was going to say thank you before you asked me to" She replied in melodious voice and I smiled while I watched her lips parted slowly as she spoke
