It's now been close to 2 hours since Jack left the room and haven't been able to return. I wasn't quite bothered by that since I already knew it will come to this. It is pertinent for someone to finish that type of task in a matter of minutes anyway. My thirst seems to have magically disappeared or probably was lying unnoticed because I could feel my throat moisten with saliva as my mind wandered about in thoughts. For I had many things to worry about other than water. Most especially Dad's well-being and safety. It may be so easy to find him if what Jack said was true since he does not know his way around this place.
