A call from Mrs. Whitaker cut short my hunting party with detective Stewart. Apparently Luca had seen it fit to attack my mate at her own gate and inflicted some wounds on her and once again I had failed in my duties as a man to protect those who looked up to me and it was both stressing and confusing. I couldn't be everywhere at the same time. If only I had Arthur.
"You know this is your fault right?" I said after minutes of staring at each other awkwardly in her room.
"You got to be kidding me!"
"You pushed Arthur away he would have protected you"
"Well you seem to forget that he is human and am a generational witch! Besides which man sends another man to look after what is precious to him?"
