I received the news of the intruder's demise from one of my loyal warriors, his voice laced with urgency and a hint of relief. The weight of responsibility settled upon my shoulders as I absorbed the information. The castle may be surrounded and protected, but there was no certainty if there were any other intruders lurking in the shadows.
Closing my eye, I issued a command to Carl, through our telepathic connection. The urgency in my thoughts weighed heavily upon him, urging him to send a contingent of men to track down and seize every member of the intruder's pitiful pack.
