Mia gasped. “Wait, Landon’s the boss, right?”
I nodded. “Yes.”
Mia stopped by my house because she was passing by. She just wanted to spend a few minutes with me before leaving.

“He wanted to meet mom but I’m not ready for that. So he settled on seeing you instead,” I replied softly. “He just wants to meet my family.”
