"ANO?!" hindi makapaniwalang wika ni Mika sabay eksaheradang umiling, nandidiri.
“Lose your virginity,” pag-uulit ni Shania at nanunukat na tumingin sa kanya. “Unless you want to lose your virginity to that man then don’t. Tonight is the best way to do it.”
Napailing-iling sa pagsuko si Mika. Damn, she always hates it when Shania gives her a naughty look. She was very good at it. Persuading. However, Shania has a point too. Very big to be in fact.
“If you do it now tonight then at least it’s your own will... it’s still up to you, you know,” ani Shania at tumungga ng alak mula sa nguso ng bote. “But if were you—”

“Well, that was the advantage of having a parent that doesn’t care. Like, you know, I am living but I’m like a ghost and they can't see me but the freaking company they love. But still, screw them, I am earning enough money, I can do what I want, I am living my best life," pahayag ni Shania at ngumisi. “Why don’t you accumulate me, right, Heather?”
Pinaikot lamang ni Heather ang mga mata at umingos. Napatingin siya sa kaibigan at umiling. Gustong-gusto niya ang ugali ni Heather. She was always silent, but she listens. But now that she limits her words even more, she can’t help but get annoyed. She can't even recall since Heather said something with at least six words in it. It wasn’t a problem, though, but she wanted to hear Heather’s side.
“If I can, I should have done it already. I can just, you know, act like you without showing my real self.” Umismid si Mika at ngumuso kina Shania. “It’s not that easy.”
“Why don’t you try to do Shan’s idea?” suhestiyon ni Alexandria.
Nagtatakang napatingin siya kay Alexandria at hindi makapaniwalang kinilingan ito ng ulo. “You agree with Shan?”
“Why not? She suggested having a one-night stand with Alejandro two years ago and then look at us, we are married.” magiliw na sagot ni Alexandria.
She wanted to retch to that, but she restrained herself. She was wrong when she though that Alejandro isn’t capable of loving her friend. Alejandro does. Ang pinagdaanan ng dalawa ay parang nobela na kanyang naisulat.
“I’m so happy that you two end up together, Alexandria, I do...” tugon niya sa kaibigan. “But my case is not the same as yours.”
“How it is not?” Heather beamed.
Napatingin ang lahat kay Heather na malamig ang ekspresyon.
“So are you saying that we have the same case?” pagkumpirma niya kay Heather. “Are we to assume that you agree with Shania’s idea?”
Nagkibit-balikat si Heather. “If you look at it well in the situation, you and Alexandria want the same thing. To ensue your dreams. Alexandria wants a child so she did what it takes. She take a risks. And now she has it. She’s happy. While you... you wanted a family and now you can’t. The least thing you can do is rebellion in which you don’t want to do. The only difference between you both is determination. Ayaw mong saktan ang nanay mo, huwag mong saktan. Pero ngayon na lamang ang natitira mong oras na ikaw pa ang may hawak na iyong buhay. Do it while you still can.”
Shania shot her eyebrows up in astonishment while Alexandria did a slow clap. Habang siya ay natahimik lamang sa kinauupuan. She knew it. Heather has something to say, she just won’t do it unless it’s relevant. Nagising siya sa mga kataha nito.
“I mean, listen. This is the last time I would say this, okay?” panimula ni Heather sasabihin payo. “I’m a spinster. We are different from each other. But we have something that others couldn't take. Friendship. Whatever you do, Mika, we’ll support you. We weren't there for each other for nothing. And I say now that move your butt before it's too late. Give yourself the best s*x tonight by picking some hot guys here in the club!”
Nang matapos si Heather sa sasabihin ay napahiyaw sina Shania.
“I know you got something to say.” Binunggo ni Shania si Heather sa tagiliran gamit ang siko. “You should do it more often.”
Nagkibit-balikat lamang si Heather at tumungga ng alak.
“Oh, so you’re back at being silent now, huh?” tanong ni Shania na hindi pinansin ni Heather. “Well, that's fine. At least you said seventy-four words today.”
Nagpapantastikuhang napangiwi si Mika. “You counted?”
“I always count you know. This month I hook up with guys is fifty in total and in that fifty never did someone brings me to a nerve-wracking c*********s orgasm.”
“So, you still had it?” nakangising tanong ni Alexandria.
“Of course, I still have it... unfortunately.” Napaismid siya at dismayadong pumalatak. “You see, the only thing they can penetrate their p***s into mine is by passing the c*********s evaluation. Tiningnan siya ni Shania bago bumakas ang malaking ngisi sa mukha nito bago inihudyat ang ulo sa gawi nila Kyron.
“Your smart, Mika, you know what I mean," nanunukat na sambit ni Shania. “You might be innocent and has no experience, but you knew how it feels to be affected by someone based on the book you wrote.”
A part of her got the idea of Shania’s but she still wants to clarify it to her. Just by thinking of it gives her so much anxiousness. She couldn't possibly be suggesting that she should lose it to the man who knows nothing but break women’s hearts, could she?
“What?” muling tanong ni Mika upang makumpirma ang nasa isip ni Shania.
“You knew it, Mika. And you knew how much he affects you when your eyes met the moment he looks at you. You still feel it... you just didn’t mind.”
Nang marinig ang kataga ang kataga ni Shania ay napalingon siya sa gwi nila Kyron at ganoon na lamang ang kanyang pagkabalisa nang makitang nakatitig ito sa kanya na para bang may ginawa siya kasalanan. His eyes were shooting arrows with his hands gripping the rockglass and it unexplainably arouses her. So, she withdrew her eyes and looked at Shania who has now a huge grin on her face.
Mika shook her head with strong disapproval and then she nods impulsively.
“What are you talking about?” Alexandria asked in her utmost unwitting.
“Kyron...” pagbibigay-alam ni Shania sa mga kaibigan pagkatapos ay nang-uudyok na tumitig sa kanya. “Mika, lose your virginity to Kyron.”
“THERE'S something wrong with those girls...” wika ni Kyron pagkatapos ay nilingon si Alejandro. “May problema ba ang asawa mo?”
"Wala naman,” sagot ni Alejandro sabay sumipat sa asawa nitong nakayakap na kay Mika. “Wala naman kaming problema ni Alexandria. Baka si Mika ang may problema.”
“Do you think Mika has a problem?” tanong niya dito para mapakunot ang noo nito kasama na rin Isaac at Jackson.
“Why do you even ask? Do you care?” Jackson asked teasingly and then he smirked.
“Of course not, I’m just curious, fuckers. You know how curious I am as a person,” pagbibigay-diin ni Kyron.
“Ha! Humour me...” pagtutol ni Isaac pagkatapos ay pagak na tawa. “You don’t have to lie. You just want to get under her pants, that's all.”
“I am not for Pete’s sake,” pagtanggi niya pagkatapos ay tumingin dito na abala pa rin sa pakikipag-usap sa mga kaibigan. “Mika’s knows better. She’s an angel. She wouldn’t push herself in to hell.”
Tumango-tango sa pagsang-ayon si Alejandro. Isaac who was sitting across from him gives him a short shrugged.
“She could if she won’t resist the devil...” saad ni Jackson para mapalingon siya sa gawi nila Mika habang hawak niya ang rock-glass.
When Mika suddenly swiveled her eyes towards him, making their eyes locked for a minute, he felt something shot his shaft. It tingles. It tingles how their eyes met when they arrived a while ago. Damn, this is the first time he felt that with just a gaze. Hir shaft was really in need of attention. And it asks for Mika. It took her minutes before withdrawing her eyes and his buddy still hasn’t calmed down.
Kyron glanced at his pants and then he heaved a deep sigh. He gripped the glass even tighter and then he took a long sip on his whiskey glass. When Alejandro lightly punches his arms, he glances at him. Inihudyat nito ang ulo kaya napatingin siya kanyang likuran.
He saw Alexandria and Mika and then their eyes locked again, and he was tongue-tied.
“Baby, let’s go talk...” ani Alexandria sabay kaladkad kay Alejandro.
