Just then I heard footsteps come running through the forest behind me and my heart started beating at a rapid pace again as I swung my head around to see Spencer coming through the trees towards us. “Asher. I’m glad you found her.” Spencer said. “What’s going on?” Asher asked, still not letting go of me. “I told you earlier tonight, Trinity has problems. She just had another episode at home.” Spencer lied. Asher looked back at me and I looked down at the ground. I couldn’t let him see that Spencer’s words not only hurt me but they angered me.
