I tried to take a step back from Asher, but he still had his arm around me from when he stopped me from falling. He was staring into my eyes. Not breaking eye contact at all. Looking at me menacingly and making me more and more uncomfortable and nervous the longer we were standing there. He didn’t say anything else to me. He just stood there, standing tall staring down at me. I tried to push away from him, but he wasn’t going to let that happen. I knew that he hated me and a part of him wanted to hurt me, but I also knew that he wasn’t going to hurt me. Not just yet anyway. I start looking around frantically, remembering that I was fleeing my brother who was in the middle of attacking me when I hurt him. He was going to kill me if he caught up to me. Asher reached his free hand
