On the sisters’ second day there, Gena arrived with Angel Luis, and it was all Xavier could do not to snap. Why would she come unannounced? Oh yeah, because she still believed he belonged to her.
As soon as Amira saw his ex-wife, she stiffened. Xavier couldn’t possibly blame her. Gena hadn’t been exactly kind to her the first time they had met… and she probably never would be.
“What’s she doing here?” The woman all but screeched at Xavier, ignoring the El-Habachi sisters completely. “First you decide you’re getting married, and then postpone the wedding. What kind of joke is this?”
“This is no joke, Gena,” he thundered, eyes blazing.
