Shit, s**t, s**t. I rushed to Sadie's side as she collapsed onto the bed in a dead faint, cradling her in my arms and gently slapping her pale cheeks. "Sadie honey" I murmured "wake up."
Her eyes fluttered and then they opened, confusion in her eyes. She gave a gasp and then sat upright, putting a hand to her head. "I have a wolf" she whispered, looking at me accusingly as I flinched "Her name is Toffee."
God, I felt guilty. She looked so overwhelmed as she stared at me. I knew I should have possibly taken the possibility of this happening into account, but I honestly thought with her being fae that it wouldn't happen. Now I was paying the price for my sheer stupidity.
Just wait until we see Toffee. I bet she's as beautiful as Sadie purred Apollo sounding ecstatic.
