His voice was sincere, his eyes flashing with pride. He might not have the largest pack in the country, but he definitely had pride in it. It was a lot more than what I had seen from some of the other packs. His Beta spoke up "We also have several warriors who are willing to join your pack in good faith, make it their home and grow your pack in numbers" he said loudly and a bit arrogantly.
I c****d my head. I was more than happy to grow my pack in numbers, but I would also be careful about who was allowed to join my pack. I would not be fooled into taking on someone to spy on my pack and report back to Alpha Goldheart. But he didn't need to know that.
