"Are you sure you want to close the place down by yourself?" Taylor, one of the nurses asked, making me nod my head yes.
"Go ahead, I can handle it from here. Since the storm seems to be moving in, I want you guys to get home safely."
Taylor looked at me worriedly before sighing.
"The only reason I'm agreeing to this is because I know you take after your father, and you are just as stubborn as he is." She grumbled, making me laugh as I reached out and grabbed her jacket.
"You are right. Now get going, I know your kids will be happy to see you home early tonight."
Truthfully, that isn't the only reason I was trying to rush her out. I wanted to get the hell out of here so I could go hide in my apartment for the rest of the night and wallow in my misery.
